Vlady began performing at the age of 7 in Moscow, Russia. At thirteen he moved to Melbourne, Australia, where he got involved in the striving theatre scene. In 2005 he completed a Diploma of Film and TV at Footscray City College Film and TV School, before going on to Victoria University to study a Bachelor of Arts (Performance Studies). Vlady also continued his acting pursuits outside of university appearing in commercials and short films, as well as Comedy Channel's TV series The Power of One.

In 2007, Vlady T played the part of Noah Joad in Heidelberg Theatre Company's production of The Grapes of Wrath. The play won 7 Victorian Drama League's "Gold" Awards, including Best Production and was mentioned in Victorian Parliament by an MP, who congratulated Vlady T and the other cast members on a great performance. That year Vlady resigned from his university course after accepting an offer to play the Wirechief in the mini-series The Pacific, produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. In other TV credits, Vlady appeared in ABC hit television series Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries and a quirky environmentalist TV comedy series The Temperature's Rising.

Vlady starred as Cam in "Sane" by Luci Klendo & Bradley Klendo, a one man show tackling the challenges of homelessness and mental illness.

Appeared in Slightly Left Of Centre's new video clip "Rewind", playing Marlon Brando.

Vlady acted as Katerina's Brother in "Any Questions for Ben?" - feature film, directed by Rob Sitch and produced by Working Dog. The film has been released in cinemas across Australia and Europe.

Acted in a part of Ivan in a short film "Deeper Than Yesterday", written and directed by internationally acclaimed film maker Ariel Kleiman. The film has premiered at Cannes Film Festival's Critics Week, winning 2 awards. It also attained an award at the Sydney International Film Festival. DTY won Best Short Film award at the Chicago International Film Festival. The film has been nominated for the Australian Film Institute (AFI) award for the best short film and won an award for best short screenplay. DTY received an award at Sundance Film Festival and screened in over 40 other festivals worldwide, as well as having a TV release on SBS. Check out www.deeperthanyesterday.com for more details.

Vlady completed work on "The Dream Children", directed by Robert Chuter and produced by Fat Kid Films Pty Ltd. The film is screening at various film festivals worldwide. Check out www.thedreamchildren.com for more details.

Vlady completed work on an Australian feature film "The Wedding Party", directed by Amanda Jane and produced by Brave Studios. The film screened and won multiple awards at various international film festivals and subsequently had a limited theatrical release in Australia and USA. It is currently available on DVD and I-Tunes. 

Vlady T starred as Rullio, a socio-pathic drug dealer in Nice Productions' Melbourne Fringe Festival 2012 offering "Reunion" by Leigh Ormsby directed by Dmitri Pronin. 

Vlady appeared in an original play "AND WHAT'S YOUR FREAKING PROBLEM???" that was performed as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2013.

Acted in a feature film "Made In Australia", directed by Matthew Victor Pastor, produced by Amberlight Media. The film won Best Guerilla Film award at Melbourne Underground Film Festival. The film had its television premiere on Channel 31 and is available for DVD purchase.
